The advocator of the Underdog

...that's me.

I'm a pretty nice, optimistic, glass half-full, everything is great! type of person. Therefore when my roommates started to rag on some things that I don't feel should be ragged on, boy did I speak up. Ironically another topic of conversation, yellow starbursts, came up between me and Andrea the next day. And therefore, she declared me the Advocator of the Underdog.

Stop hating on Snow White: Now, she's never been my favorite either. But it seems everyone in my generation hates her! Come on now, show some respect! She was the first Disney Princess, and just because you don't love her voice, doesn't mean you have to speak so harshly about her. One thing I love about her voice, is that when I hear it, it reminds me of the 30s and 40s, because of the recording quality. It reminds me of the time period when people went to see the movie. and the animals in that movie are so darn cute!

Superman: Superman was another topic brought up. i love Superman! I grew up with him because Heather loved him. So some of my childhood was spent watching Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. So while the others go for Batman and Spiderman, I will always have a fond love for Clark Kent.



Yellow Starbursts: I LOVE yellow starbursts (and the red and orange); probably because I love anything lemon flavored (I think it's in my genes, or I learned it from my parents). Everyone hates on the yellow starbursts, they go for the pink! If you search yellow starbursts on facebook, all the groups have about 100 fans, and there's a influx of groups about hating yellow starbursts. I don't understand everyone's infatuation with the pink; they're extremely good. but I love the other flavors probably just as much. I guess I'm the perfect person to share starbursts with, because I'll eat the ones you don't want.
