Do you ever look behind your car while you're backing onto 900 E? I mean come on, that's a busy street. And the fact that you didn't even know that you almost hit me this morning, leaves me surprised.
This morning I was walking along 9th to get to the Taylor building for my 10 A.M. class. I was passing Washington (the boy's building in my ward) and a girl just started backing up as I was walking behind. One of the scary times in my life. I'm all of a sudden a few inches away from her car, and I don't remember much what I did except the shock of realizing she was really coming and had no idea i was there, my hand on the back of her car, and that I quickly maneuvered out of the way in time. She didn't even look at me once as she finished backing up and drove past, but a person in a car on the street saw, and was staring at me. All in all, an interesting way to start a day. I am very thankful for blessings and angels, and Heavenly Father. Lesson to all, please be aware of any potentially backing up cars.
