Mister Rogers defending PBS to the US Senate
I love this man. A guy in my ward posted this video on facebook. How cool- I read this on wikipedia:
"The chairman of the subcommittee, John O. Pastore, was not previously familiar with Rogers' work, and was sometimes described as impatient. However, he reported that the testimony had given him goosebumps, and declared, "I think it's wonderful. Looks like you just earned the $20 million." "Initially educated to be a minister, Rogers was displeased with the way television addressed children and made an effort to change this when he began to write for and perform on local Pennsylvania shows dedicated to youth.
