Day 3- Hoboken, NJ

Day 3 we had to take Heidi's brothers to the LaGuardia airport. We also had to pick up Heidi's dad's car from the airport, so Heidi and I got the thrilling adventure of driving a car by ourselves in New York/New Jersey. Well, Heidi was the driver. I was the assistant navigator. ;)

Since LaGuardia is really close to Hoboken, New Jersey (Hello Cake Boss!) we went over to Carlo's Bakery. We successfully navigated ourselves into New Jersey. Driving in New York is an adventure all in itself.

Welcome to Manhattan sign.

During the week, I saw many of the different parts of New York. The hip to the ghetto, a good amount of the boroughs...etc

Here's Hoboken.

So Carlo's Bakery has a huge line. And they keep it down the street in front of a pharmacy so the walk way in front of the bakery stays pretty clear. They give you a number, and then they let in a group of numbers at the same time into the bakery to look around/wait until your number is call. We waited in line for a little while, but after talking to people near the front of the line, it sounded like the wait would be about 3.5 hours. So we decided to just take a picture in front of it/peek into the windows and call it good.

I tried to see if I recognized any of the people down here from the show, but nope :(

The long line

After we finally got home, we just chilled at Heidi's house for the rest of the day, and played some Settlers of Catan. ;)
